Be a tester

Six people share a valley for one sitting. We need people willing to play a rough build badly, and then tell us exactly how it went wrong.

What you are signing up for

A match is one sitting, three to five hours, played straight through. That is the game, not a beta limitation — so the honest requirement is an afternoon you can actually give it, not just a free evening you might abandon halfway.

The build is unfinished. Things will break, and the parts that break are the parts we most need you in. In exchange: you see it first, your bugs get fixed in front of you, and the Discord is where the sessions get called.

You will need

PlatformWindows PC. No Mac or Linux build, and none planned for the playtest.
GraphicsAnything reasonably modern. An NVIDIA RTX card can turn DLSS on, which helps.
MemoryThe people in the game talk using a language model that runs on your own machine. It wants about 5 GB of RAM and 4 cores to itself, on top of the game.
DiskThe game, plus a one-time ~2.5 GB download for the local model. Without it, your tribe falls back to written phrases.
MicrophoneStrongly recommended. You command your tribe by speaking to them.
TimeOne uninterrupted 3–5 hour block per session.

Six questions. It takes a minute, and we read every one.

We store what you type here to run the playtest and nothing else — not sold, not shared. Ask us to delete it at any time; see the privacy page.
